RSS Feeds should now be operational. The entries feed is here, and the comment feed is here. Update: Images + the banner should be showing up now. Gentle readers — those of you who had trouble before — could you please tell us if they are? And tell us what version of Internet Explorer you are / were using? 6 or 7?
IE on XP is like the Novus—technically valid, but really a bad idea.
Get a Mac!
They seem to be appearing now…
All is working well now. Today is the first time I saw the banner and full pictures. Nice job! I have IE 6.
RSS works with Firefox 2 now. Vobis ago gratias.
Also, if XP is Novus Ordo, does that make *nix the Tridentine mass? After all, it’s a lot older, the average joe doesn’t even know what it is let alone understand it, and yet for those initiated it’s a sine qua non, a beautiful and wonderful experience…
All images and banner now visible, and RSS feed working.
(Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP)
I’m not sure what an RSS feed is, but now I’ve got banner (spiffy), pictures (always a staple of our Faith!), but, alas, no fancy head-letters on “A New Beginning” or “Sacrementum Caritatis.”
Internet Explorer 7.0 (?) on XP.
Better and better, though, guys!
Yeah, we’re having some issues with smaller images inside posts not appearing on IE 6. All this makes me want to go back to Opera!
As for the good Doctor’s suggestion to get a Mac…
i don’t know what this is about, but i’m on IE on a windows millenium edition and the pictures in the three most recent posts don’t appear
oh, sorry, someone already wrote about that
Anonymous,
You REALLY should be using Firefox. IE for Millenium Edition is like a huge neon sign for viruses. Serious.
There are still problems from this article up. New posts lack pictures.
The new posts lack pictures because Iacobus and I didn’t put any pictures with them! Sorry for the confusion!
For me, at least, it’s a pain to get a picture in there, at the right size, in our new set up here
I don’t get a “submit” button on my page until someone else makes a comment so I’ll make mine here.
Nice post, Catharina. Padre Pio is a favorite of mine also. Have you seen the movie, Padre Pio—Miracle Man? It captures the saint quite well with his humor, sternness to sinners, gentleness to penitents, warmth to friends, saintliness, and humanity. It’s best viewed in the Italian with English subtitles. You’ll enjoy all 3 hours and 20 minutes of it. It’s a great introduction for anyone who doesn’t know him.
