Toulose Recommends Horses

Can one really be said to have a Eucharistic Procession without horses? I don’t know . . . . But it looks to me as though they know how to do it up right in Toulouse, France.

The rest of the pictures are here. A thanks to my traditionalist friends at the Oxford Oratory for these pictures.

Very, very nice. Seems that some secularists in Toulouse are hopping mad about this. In fact, one socialist town councillor has threatened that things might not go as well next year.

    Let’s keep our powder dry.

P.S. The local ordinary wanted nothing to do with this manifestation of the Faith.

Those guys on horseback look like they could go out and fight a Crusade against the Turk or sack a Huguenot castle or something!

    Indeed, keep the powder dry.

I would imagine that the local ordinary was abed, very ill with the Nervous Disorder and so unable, regretably, to attend the fine liturgical function.
