More pointless trivia: George Harrison's last album contained a song called "P2 Vatican Blues (Last Saturday Night)." The song refers to the right-wing Propaganda Due (P2) masonic lodge that was implicated in the Vatican banking scandal. Among the masons of P2: one Silvio Berlusconi. Weird, huh?

Gee, do you think that Ringo and Sir Paul noticed this when they were reading up on the Catholic stats of their hometown? ;) Seriously, though, I know that George Harrison apostatized from Catholicism and turned Hindu/New Age. I think that McCartney may have been raised a Papist, and Lennon had some Catholicism in his family tree. So in case we don't already have enough fallen-aways in our families to pray for, we can always offer up a bead for the Beatles.
