A new site, put up by the Abbey itself, of pictures from Le Barroux, France; I received it in an email this morning. This group of pictures is from the anniversary Mass of a Dom Gerard. The first picture shows him on the day of his ordination, giving his first priestly blessing to his mother. The date was May 13, 1956.

Good morning,
Thanks for the link. I had to register at bellapix.com, then use the email address and password I provided, then click on ‘Les Expos’ to find a page providing search.
Searching on ‘Barroux’ in title, I found two other albums, but not the one you linked, so I manually edited the address in my browser, and was able to view the album. If I search on ‘Barroux’ by author, all three Barroux albums display.
What’s up with the Resurrection Crucifix above the altar?
I’ve always associated those with the Novus Ordo?
Barroux is all over the place.
It is not a Resurrection crucifix, but rather the image of Christ as High Priest and king, adorned in priestly vestments and crowned.
Dom Gerard is the founder and first abbott of LeBarroux.
I believe it is one of the great sources of restoration in the Church today. I believe their liturgy is the most awe-inspiring in the Church today.
